Got an invite for a free cocktail to Ma'kai bar from a girl we met the night before last in the Kings Head, called Erin. She was on her first date with a lad called Geoff. When a certain song came on the jukebox he proudly announced that the song was on the radio the first time he had sex which lasted all of 16 seconds. Don't think Erin was too impressed, wonder if they will have a second date !
It's now 10.30am and have to be out of the room by by 11am. We are heading for Hollywood and Beverly Hills, just hope the weather holds but the forecast is poor. Booked transport back to LAX for 7.45pm from the hotel. It's $14 each, a bit cheaper than the $50 to get here. Flying to Auckland NZ at 11.30pm which is going to be strange. We are 8 hours behind GMT in LA whilst Auckland is 13 hours in front so the time difference is 21 hours (always was good at maths). It's a 12 hour flight so we lose 33 hours therefore don't have a 20th January. Not fair, wonder if I can claim that back at work as I'm sure I have taken that day as annual leave. Any thoughts Nigel?
