Arrived in Los Angeles

Good journey to Manchester Airport with Rick & Maggie who will be sunning themselves in Mexico now. Delayed an hour sat on the tarmac while they searched for a bag that shouldn't have been on. Got to Heathrow with 2 hours before our flight to LA. That was also delayed an hour but we made up time on the way and arrived on time. Very small seats and no room, hope Quantas is bigger legroom than BA. Taxi was almost $50 to Santa Monica, now 2.25am at home but only 6.25pm here so going get a couple of hours kip then go and visit the Kings Head bar around the corner. Still no idea how other people are supposed to read this blog.....am I wasting my time. Speak to you tomorrow Lucy when you get home from work....9pm in UK will be 1pm lunchtime for us so we'll call you then.
